The Right to Moronic Protest

Like every other weekday morning I found myself listening to NPR on the radio while driving to work and thinking that they should rename their show “Democracy Now” to “Socialism Now”. All personal opinions about the radio station aside, they covered a story this morning that really made me laugh.

They were talking about the recent protests taking place at a few universities around the country; one in particular was the protest in California where protesters blocked a major highway near San Francisco in Oakland. The protest took place due to recent budget cuts taking money away from California Universities. Now remember, California is currently bankrupt and is going more and more in debt as each day passes. To the socialists and liberals who don’t get it… that means THERE IS NO MONEY! But I digress…

They interviewed one official who said that the CHP and Oakland Police responded to the scene to arrest the protesters so they could reopen the highway and that they were going to do it in the most peaceful manner possible. They then interviewed one of the protesters who said, and I quote, “The police were like chasing after people with their masks on and jumping on them to handcuff them. They were like hurting people, ya know. Why would they do that?”

Let that sink in for a second… “Why would they do that?”…. Maybe because you were breaking the law! Maybe because you were blocking a major highway and putting yourselves and thousands upon thousands of commuters at risk!

The logic of this protest doesn’t make sense either. Think about it… budget cuts happen because there is no money as a result of a declining economy. The only way to stimulate the economy is to get people working. But by blocking a major highway they are preventing thousands of people from getting to work which prevents them from stimulating the economy. This leads to greater economic hardship and additional budget cuts. So, in a sentence, these protesters are making the problem that they are protesting about worse!

That, my friends, is what made me laugh. As is usually the case these retards are so quick to grab their signs and go protests against the man that they didn’t even think about how their actions would effect the problem they were upset about. Liberals are so quick to pick up a sign, block a street, and start yelling about how the man is holding them down. If they had any intelligence they would find a much more productive means to not only let the world know about their displeasure but also help to fix the problem instead of making it worse.

Do not get me wrong. I stand behind the right to protest. But you don’t act like a retard and put other peoples lives at risk.

The Tea Party Cometh

UPDATE:  According to the numbers I’m hearing… 2 million racists, rednecks, klansmen, and genuinely ignorant fucktards showed up in DC to hate the fact that our President is Black.  It had absolutely nothing to do with taxes, spending, or a radical socialist agenda…

539wThe Tea Parties are coming

How many people were at the DC tea Party yesterday?  10 thousand? 100 thousand?  If you watch MSNBC you’d never know.  I see phrases like “the political exploitation of the corporate-backed tea parties” and  “crazy Glenn Beck’s tea party had nothing to do with 9/11.”  Well that’s great.  I hope America understands that we have a main stream media that isn’t intellectually honest enough to admit that there is something special going on here.

Self-deception is apparently running rampant throughout the media and even Hollywood.  My favorite is the claim that Bush stole the 200 and 2004 elections when there is absolutely no evidence to even support the claim.   But the same people turn a blind eye to the overwhelming evidence of election fraud in the 2008 election.  I’m not saying that Obama stole the election, but ACORN’s corrupt practices certainly helped Obama’s numbers.   Intellectual dishonesty and self deception will lead the way to these people being shocked when Obama loses his re-election bid and the Dems are thrown out of Congress.

Yeah, I said it.  Look.  Just because the media refuses to cover the Tea Party movement; or marginalize it as much as possible, it doesn’t mean that it’s not real.  It IS real.  Liberals are going to be pissed off in November of 2010 when they wake up and see that the Democrats have been swept out of office.  They will cry foul when Obama get’s pummeled in the 2012 election.  Why?  Because the media is leading them to believe that America still approves of Obama.   They want you to believe that he is still overwhelmingly popular and he’s not.

live912Rasmussen polls are far and away the most accurate polls we have.  In the last several elections they accurately predicted the popular vote within a half point.  Before today, Obama’s numbers were already below 50% and falling.  His speech last night pushed him up over 50% for the first time in over a month.  The generic congressional poll show the GOP with a solid lead for the first time in several years.  People tend to trust the GOP on issues that have been solidly Democrat for decades like Healthcare, Social Security, Abortion (wtf?), and the economy.   Despite Obama’s claims most people expect to see their taxes rise in the next 3 years.

In my own state, the Democratic Senator Bennett is trailing behind both potential 2010 opponents.  Plus the Democratic Governor is trailing in the polls already.

So what does all this have to do with Tea Parties?  Everything.  The American people are fed up with big government.  And that means from both parties.  Whichever party can figure it out first is going to enjoy a period of dominance in congress while the other will be marginalized.   Saying that the Tea Parties are fake, or corporate sponsored is not only lunacy but it does the people a disservice.  It’s just not true and when people listen to the news they want to hear the truth.

The Democrats are not the only thing in trouble here.  The main stream media is in trouble too.  People can get their news a variety of ways and people will opt for alternative means of media and news if they feel they get the whole story instead of an elitist pig’s opinion.

I’m just sayin’.

9-12 counter Protest.

Well it has been a busy week for all of us!!

The Counter Protest was another great success for the 9-12 Project and Northern Colo. Tea Party!! There were approx. 100 Organizing for America (OFA) protesters and 450 9-12/Tea Party protesters at Mulberry and College in Ft. Collins on the 29th. The OFA folks were to march down to Markey’s office which when they lined up to march and then saw us line up to march, they simply left and went home. So Tom Buchanan led the way and we all marched down to Markey’s office and many went inside and expressed to her staff how they felt about health care reform bill HR 3200.

For a few moments it was intense inside the lobby but I must give Credit to Ms. Markey’s staff Ken Bennett and another staffer who listened and answered questions which is want everyone wanted. There were many people there that I did not know but the 9-12ers were respectful even though emotions were running high. GREAT JOB everyone!!!

Here is a link to a short video I made of the protest which gives a general idea of how many of us were there: http://www.loveland912project.org/videos it is the one labeled “counter protest”

Also here is a link to photographs of the protest taken by Jerry Long of J & K Photography: http://www.jandklongphotography.com/health-care-rally/index.html

Thanks Nancy!

So about 100 people showed up to rally IN FAVOR of national health care but 450 people showed up AGAINST IT! This was amazing! Yes more people showed up to the COUNTER protest than the actual protest. And the people IN FAVOR of it just WENT HOME! HA! that’s dedication for you!

This is what can happen when WE ORGANIZE and show up and express our opinion. The radical leftists do NOT have a monopoly on protesting and organizing. We need to keep at it folks and not let them pass a public option in health care reform. If congress DOES pass it, it will be the beginning of the END!
