Obama’s Solution to Bad Policy
There are two words that have been dominating the headlines ever since Obama was elected… Media and Blitz. Every time any of Obama’s policies doesn’t go over very well with the public, which is pretty much every one that he has tried to push through Congress, his solution is to launch a media blitz. You would think that a smarter move would be to make better policy that is aligned with the desires of the American people. But that is not what is happening. Instead, for every bad policy they make, the Obama administration launches a media blitz to tell the public what they should really be thinking about their policy. This is just one more indication that Obama really is clueless as to the job he holds and doesn’t care to learn it.
Obama: “This is Bullshit.”
WASHINGTON: A White House insider who wished to remain anonymous said that after President Obama laid the wreath on at Arlington he rolled his eyes and said this was a bunch of “bullshit.”
It makes you wonder about the President. Was it the wreath selection that he was calling B.S.? Or the fact that he had to do it in the rain? Or at all?
In any event. Look at the President’s body language when placing the wreath on the tomb. This is not the body language of reverence. It is the body language of a child being forced to kiss his grandmother.
We’re still waiting on his sense of urgency that he campaigned on for Afghanistan… 11 months into his presidency and we still have no plan.
Red Herring
The Obama Administration is now launching an investigation into the Bush Administration’s interrogation practices. Big surprise here! After repeating throughout his campaign and practically up until now that he would not launch an investigation into the Bush Administration he has now apparently broken that promise as well. I don’t think ANYBODY saw this coming.
With Health Care Reform on the ropes isn’t it obvious that the Administration is just trying to change the subject? If Obama can get Bush in the news instead of town hall meetings where angry Americans are fighting for their rights then that will relieve some of the pressure.
This isn’t Hope and Change. This is blame Bush for everything and then try to sneak another Bill past the American people. It has the stench of Rahm “dead fish” Emanuel.
By Changing the subject, Obama can drum up angst over the supposed torture carried out by the Bush Administration over the last 8 years which will provide cover for his cronies as they twist a few arms in the Senate and get the Health Care Reform passed. Of course NBC, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS will follow their marching orders and show nothing about the Health care takeover and do nothing but Bash Bush 24/7.
Its nothing more than a cheap political manuever. This is why you don’t vote for a politician promising change and hope. Its all bull crap.
Wake up America! This guy is transforming our country into an authoritarian nightmare and WE need to stop it.

Cheesy Slogans and vauge promises of Change…
Now that reality is setting in for many Americans, President Obama’s promises of “Yes we Can” and “Change you Can Believe in” are starting to ring a bit hollow. Let’s face it. President Obama’s policies are not working the way he promised and people are starting to feel it in the pocket book. And the pocket book is the end all and be all of Presidential Administrations.
Bill Clinton won in 1992 with “it’s the economy, stupid!” George W. Bush won by offering a larger tax cut than Gore in 2000. And Obama won in 2008 by offering tax cuts to the middle class and promising to revive the economy. But now that we’re six months in and 7 million people have lost their jobs and Obama’s administration is claiming that they “misread” the economy it’s looking pretty bad.
Political rhetoric can only get you so far. Obama constantly blamed George W. Bush for the recession and tied Republican candidate John McCain to Bush during the election. Obama constantly reminded the populace that the economy was “inherited” by him from the Bush administration when he was pushing for the stimulus package. Now those words are hanging around but mean nothing. The American people had these words and policies shoved down their throats and it is a bitter bill to swallow (pardon the pun).
President Obama has shown either a lack of understanding in economic matters or a complete disregard for them. Either way it is unforgivable, especially since the economy was his calling card. The economy is getting worse and worse and more and more people are shifting the blame from Wall Street and Bush to Big Business and Obama, who seem to be teaming up to destroy the American economy.
The ramifications will be a loss of the super majorities that the Democrats have in both houses of Congress. If the Republicans can regain power in the congress, that might be the most beneficial thing for the economy as President Obama is weak and is easily influenced by Congress. This economy will eventually recover in two to four years.
How is the stimulus working for America?
This video does a good job at summing up how well Obama’s stimulus package is working for America so far…
Obama’s numbers continue to fall

According to Rasmussen Reports President Obama’s poll numbers are in continual decline. The poll says that 30% of the nation strongly approve of the president while 38% strongly disapprove.
39% approve of his handling of the economy while 43% disapprove.
Curiously, 51% still give the president good or excellent ratings while 48% disapprove in general.
Ah yes, Peace… not.
President Obama called for the reduction of the nuclear arsenals of both Russia and the United States today…
“The future does not belong to those who gather armies on a field of battle or bury missiles in the ground.”
But what assurances will we have that our old adversaries will do as we will no doubt do? If we reduce our nuclear arsenals will Russia? Will they in good faith? Who is to say, but it is no doubt that President Obama will make sure that WE do.
And while we unilaterally disarm Russia will most likely NOT disarm and say they did. Then Iran will arm up and North Korea will as well. And then, when we are at a strategic disadvantage we will also cancel our plans to build a missile defense shield. The future is not bright.
What the U.S. military needs to do is start “disarming.” That means they will probably hide the actual number of nuclear weapons from the President and the World. unfortunate, but highly possible. Because for real… are we going to trust the former KGB agent?
Take it from me (someone with a degree in Intelligence Studies) HELL NO!
Presidential Election Trends
It seems that every Preidential election in recent years has taught us something about the way the American people think. Maybe not all American people but a large majority of them. We have learned a lot from the process that we go through to elect our Presidents as well as from the Presidents that we elect themselves.
For example…
1) President Clinton being re-elected proved that a great deal many American’s don’t care if a person has repeatedly cheated on their spouse, has no military experience, and smoked dope (so long as you don’t inhale of course).
2) President Bush being re-elected proved that a great deal many American’s don’t care if a person has absolutely zero ability to speak in public, can’t answer questions without looking like a dumb ass, snorted some coke (inhaling of course), and comes off as a religious war-monger.
3) President Obama being elected proved that a great deal many American’s don’t care if a person has absolutely zero experience handling matters associated with the office in which they seek, has no military experience, and the color of their skin.
To me it seems like every President that we elect is quite the opposite from the last and not just in party affiliation. We went from a smooth not-so-religious Preident with loose morals and soft stance towards foreign aggression to an over-religious not-so-smooth President who took a hard stance on foreign agreession. Then we went to a smooth no-so-religious President who has so far caved in and tried to negotiate with damn near every country that has sought to destroy America and the ideal of democracy itself!
Using those trends, who do you think is going to be the next person to run against Obama in the next election? If you don’t already have the answer to that they you REALLY need to start watching the news! My guess… Sarah Palin is going to run on the big ticket for the republicans. She just announced she is stepping down from her position as Alaska’s govener but she hasn’t said why yet. Well, it is kind of obvious isn’t it? Does she stand a chance? Again, based on the trends, I think she does. How far opposite from a black male democrat from Chicago can you get? How about a white female republican from Alaska!
But wait… what about all the ethics controversy surrounding her? Ha! The controversy around Obama was much worse but the media practically buried all of it. They will hammer Palin but in the end I think she will come out with a pretty strong chance of winning. Is it because of her qualifications and stance on the issues? Nope. It will be because she is extremely different than Obama. It was this last election that really taught us that… you don’t have to hold strong qualifications than the other candidate… you just have to be completely opposite of the current President that every one is sick and tired of.
