Iranian update!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090717/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_iran_election

Protestors in Iran are still fighting for their rights.  I haven’t commented on this issue in a few days, but it is still very near and dear to my heart.

On Fridays, the militia fired tear gas at protestors inside the mosque at Friday prayers.  As the former president Rafsanjani criticized the Iranian government for post election violence the protestors yelled “Azadi! Azadi!” Persian for “freedom.”

But tear gas was not the only disturbing thing going on.  Hard line supporters of the regime bullied and pushed the opposition leaders as they were headed for the prayers.  According to the AP, “As she headed for the university, a prominent women’s rights activist, Shadi Sadr, was beaten by militiamen, pushed into a car and driven away to an unknown location, Mousavi’s Web site http://www.mowjcamp.com and a women’s rights site http://www.meydaan.com said.”

Reports have been coming in from Iran saying that the morgues have been filling up in Tehran with hundreds of unidentified bodies.  People are disappearing and being killed.  It stinks of Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany.

Rafsanjani’s sermon during prayers is heartening to see that he wants his people to be united but it will fall on deaf ears.  The government will continue to ignore the will of the people as they continue to pretend to know what’s best for them.  But, as it is with all tyrants; it’s not about the people it’s about the POWER.

Look, this is tyranny at its finest.  But its also good to see that the people of Iran are not giving up.  The people outnumber the tyrants in the government.  If I’ve learned anything from reading about revolutions it is that.

Our government is failing to properly support this fight for freedom.  I’m not talking about arms and troops; I’m talking about support from our president and State Department.  For instance, WHY isn’t Hillary Clinton calling out the Iranians for abducting the women’s rights activists?  Why isn’t she speaking out against the horrible treatment that women get in many of these so-called “republics?” All we get is empty drivel about how they are “concerned.”

Our nation is not far behind the kind of tyranny that is in Iran.  Our tyranny will not be religious but the assault on our economic freedom and the freedom of our healthcare choices will lead us down the road to a police state.

Israel Gets the Green Light to Attack Iran

The latest news on the Iran nuclear threat is that our Vice President gave a sovereign nation (Israel) the green light to conduct military operations to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat. Here are some of the words Biden said on the topic…

Israel can determine for itself — it’s a sovereign nation — what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else. Whether we agree or not. They’re entitled to do that. Any sovereign nation is entitled to do that. But there is no pressure from any nation that’s going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed. — Vice President Biden

What I find to be very interesting about all of this is that he said it as if we didn’t already know this. Everything he said is quite obvious to the rest of us. As with almost everything else that comes out of his mouth, this new round of telling us what we already know seems a bit ostentatious.

For those that don’t already know, Israel bombed a French built nuclear rector being built in Iraq in 1981 just prior to it going operational. The nuclear rector would have been capable of producing nuclear weapons had it gone operational. Israel, knowing this was a direct threat to their continued existence, took matters into their own hands and eliminated the threat.

Regardless of how Biden’s statement comes across, it does come at an interesting time while Iran is still in turmoil over their recent elections. What better time to attack when a percentage of Iran’s military and security forces are busy killing protesters and their families? Are we going to see a nation take matters into their own hands and eliminate a growing threat to their existence? I, for one, hope so!

Iran poses a threat not only to Israel but the world. The United Nations has lost all credibility and ability to actually do anything useful many years ago so we cannot expect them to do anything about it. With our current President we cannot even begin to hope that we will do anything within time to save anyone. So that  leaves it to Israel to do the world a favor and take care of the growing thread to the world.

Our election system already resembles that of Iran.

Our election system already resembles that of Iran.

Our system for elections has been under severe scrutiny since the debacle of 2000 in Florida. But lets be honest, election fraud is just another institution of corruption that we have to deal with on a daily basis. The 1960 election was won due to election fraud, and now we have Al Franken declared the winner after a massive 8-month scam job. Thanks a lot Minnesota, you elected Franken, but the jokes on us.

This system where ballots are counted in secret and are recounted until the loser is declared the winner is nothing more than Iranian-style election fraud. We’re so sure that Ahmadinejahd won that election fair and square…. The only difference between our election system and the Iranian one is that we actually pretend to count our votes. They don’t they just declare winners.

This whole thing was so crooked from the beginning but I strangely knew how it would turn out. The Democrats couldn’t steal their election against Bush in Florida and they were NOT about to lose this time.

It’s pretty obvious what happened here.

Franken lost fair and square but it was so close the Franken camp saw an opportunity to rig the results in his favor by “recounting” ONLY in areas which were heavily Democratic. Oh my! What a big surprise! They “found” more votes (cough cough…created) for Franken! With the media leaning hard left these days it was pretty easy to censor the objections of Norm Colman from ever really getting his message out there. And the Supreme Court of Minnesota? Come on! They love that guy! He’s so funny!

Why didn’t they just declare him the winner from the get go? I mean why bother counting votes at all? Why not become like Iran? Why not model our government after theirs? Oh yeah! Don’t worry, we’re getting there.

The sad thing is that the Iranian people are FIGHTING for their rights. They have no weapons but they have will and they will not be silenced. We have all kinds of rights and liberties guaranteed to us by the Constitution and we just roll over and die… This is very very sad.

The King of Pop? How about people with REAL Problems??

So the King of Pop and one of Charlie’s Angels has died today. But did you know that right now there is a massacre going on in Iran? I’d hate to be the guy who doesn’t seem to care that two important American icons are dead, but this stuff that’s going on in Iran is more important to me. This isn’t people dying of heart attacks and cancer; this is people who are being killed by tyrannical governments.
It’s sad to me that more people care that Michael Fucking Jackson is dead but people are being MURDERED in Iran with clubs and axes and guns. It’s a fucking disgrace that more people care about Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. I don’t want to hear anymore about it today.
It’s pathetic that all the news agencies are now going to run all this coverage on Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett when there are people who got real problems.
Why am I so locked in on Iran? Lets just say that I think OUR government is perfectly capable of this kind of tyranny. If you don’t believe me then lets go back in time to Ruby Ridge. Remember when federal agents shot the woman holding a baby? Remember how they shot their son? Why? Because they guy had some illegal rifles? He wasn’t hurting anybody but the federal government decided that is was worth kiling a whole family over.
Remember Waco? Remember what that was all about? Was it about the wacky cult? No it was about guns. Again the Branch Davidians weren’t doing anything to anybody but we felt that it was worth killing all those people over some assault rifles, which according to the constitution they were perfectly within their rights to do own. But what do I know?
Our government is out of control with spending and trying to take over people’s lives with nationalized healthcare, auto and banking czars, restricting pay and trying to regulate every aspect of our lives. When are we going to understand? Iran? Yeah THAT’S GOING TO BE US!!! Maybe one day WE’RE going to be the ones on YouTube asking for help from other countries. Maybe we’re going to be the ones who are forced to die because the government has no more health care funds for us. Maybe We’re going to be the ones who are shot in the streets because the government already took out firearms away.
I’m not calling for a revolution… well not a violent one… but a POLITICAL revolution where people stand up for thier rights and don’t let the government dictate their lives.

Iran’s President calls Obama ‘just like Bush’

Well FINALLY someone gets this right! Of course he’s just like Bush. Especially in the who Big Spending arena. But in this case Obama’s stance on Iran is also very similar to Bush’s albeit maybe a bit softer. I think Ahmidboobeeepoop is going to be sorry for calling Obama a Bush. That’s just a bad word in Democrat land…. Iran’s best hope to be re-integrated into the mainstream world (while still remaining under the current totalitarian regime) was with Obama. Now he wants Obama to apologize…

Sorry Charlie, Obama only apologizes for Bush not for himself you got this guy all wrong. And Obama shouldn’t apologize because his stance on the violence in Iran is correct (I wish he would have condemned the police state sooner and shown more support for the protesters sooner) for the most part. So go eat pig poo Ahmedimwitpawn.

I’m glad for one thing, much of the rest of the world sees the Republicans and Democrats for what they really are, the same train moving at different speeds. Remember Elliot Spitzer? Yeah what a douche, now the GOP has Gov. Sanford who was apparently flying to Argentina to see his mistress… Another one bites the dust. Both Spitzer and Sanford were presidential hopefuls for the near future. I guess we all can’t be as slick as Bill Clinton… Oh wait, he wasn’t that slick either. In fact cheating on your wife is no reason to stop running for president!

But back to Iran. I think the Iranian President is going to be unhappy for a couple of reasons. 1. he is losing his country and the people will overthrown him and his Ayatollah puppet masters. 2. The Ayatollahs in a desperate attempt to regain control will relent to the people’s demand for a new election and Ahmedirkaderrr will lose.
